Get Involved with run for our lives

RUn WITH RYAN

VIRTUALLY:

You can sign up for our Virtual Run For Our Lives starting Feb. 1! Registration ends Feb. 28, sign up now! During the virtual race, log your miles from anywhere and you’ll have from March 1 to May 22 to complete your 115K. Plus, during that time, you’ll be in an exclusive virtual race Facebook group to motivate yourselves and get coaching from Ryan. When you finish your race, you’ll be sent a Run For Our Lives medal and t-shirt. All proceeds from the virtual race directly benefit Illinois Firefighter Peer Support.

IN PERSON:

Sign up to be a race day pacer. Ryan will need about 20 runners able to run varying legs of the race with him to keep him going and motivated. Contact us with your preferred running distance by March 2021 to be added to the list.

Volunteer IN other ways

AIDE STATIONS:

Contact us to sponsor an aide station during race day. You’ll be assigned or request a certain spot along the route to set up a cheering station stocked with things Ryan will need to keep going. We’ll provide the box of supplies the week before race day.

PACER DRIVERS:

Sometimes our pacers run with Ryan over long distances and we want to make sure they can be driven safely back to their vehicles so they can join us at the finish line. We need a few safe and licensed drivers who can assist us at specific aide stations or be on-call for emergency situations.

BUSINESS SPONSORSHIPS AND COLLABORATIONS

If you own a small business in and around our race route or like our mission to help with first responder mental health and would like to be involved in sponsoring the 2021 Run For Our Lives, we would love to hear from you! Your logo will be on our race t-shirts, we’ll give you shout-outs on social media and let everyone know how awesome you are for donating. Conversely, let us know if you’d like to collaborate on any products or fundraising ideas for our cause.
